Russell's Story
Ovet the past 20+ years the best thing I ever did was leave La. From there I moved to Georgia for a couple of years, then to Colorado for about 6 months. Unless it's to visit or vacation, DON'T GO! Then I got the bright idea to move to Seattle. As far as scenery it's got to be one of the prettiest places in the country. But it rains and then it rains some more. About 9 months out of the year. After that I moved to South Carolina helping rebuild after hurricane Hugo. Then I bought in to a small body shop and after the third year my partner and I turned it into the largest in the Charleston area. We had 19 employee's not counting office personel. 23 total. Then we opened another shop at a local dealership with 9 more employee's. A couple of years later theft problems occured and I forced him to buy me out. I worked at a large dealership in Charleston for about 2 years along with working on the Regency All-Pro Race team. (We had 3 cars). Upon Divorcing my second wife I moved back to La.for to discover that I had...Expand for more
a 12 year old daughter. WOW! Her mother and I got back together for 8 years. (Now that was a mistake!!!) During that time I Lived in Mansfield (DUMB ASS) for 2 years then bought a house moved to Joaquin,Tx. I don't know which was worse. I got into the oilfield and shortly after became a driller. I got married again (and they say you get wiser with age....Yea Right) in 2006 to Rossie VanRiper. We bought a new 2600 sq. ft. house in Hawkins, Tx. and have been here sense Sept. 4,2008. I hope like hell this is the last time I move. I didn't know it was legal to own this much stuff. It took me two weeks to move the last time. After 29 Years of smoking I finally quit April 11, 2007. My second year anniversary for that is coming up, and so has my weight. I went from 6'1, 175 lbs to 225 lbs. I like to cook large meals for my family when I'm home so thank God I have a weight room in my house. I like eating as much if not more than I like cooking. Hope I havet boared you too much. I hope to stay in touch with all of you.
