Thomas's Story
Life
In 1987, I met the love of my life in a bar, asked her to marry me after 2 months, waited a year and got married. She has a great big heart and likes me too! We'll be celebrating our 20th anniversary this coming April.
College
After the Navy (1982) I moved back to Grants Pass. I attended RCC "off and on" mostly ("off"). I had great intentions - I would sign-up for a full load and would usually drop all but the PE and music classes. Then in 1984, I moved to Portland to "get serious" about school. , I took a full time job at Avia Footwear, putting school on hold for a while.
Military
The summer after graduation I went into the Navy. I spent almost 5 years on this big adventure. I traveled to many parts of the world. I still love to travel. As I did then, I love to see how people live. I have been to 6 of the 7 continents, 20 or so other countries, almost all of the US States (need to visit the New England states) and to Disneyland and Disney World! Our last major vacation was to Scotland, very comfortable place to visit- great people, great countryside and castles.
