Glynda's Story
Life
I'm an army brat and my Dad retired in 1968 - my junior year of high school. I graduated from high school, got my first job and decided I should have taken some college prep classes in high school. I worked and attended college for many years and finally graduated in 1983. I married in 1979 and both of us attended college and worked until we graduated. We adopted a child. I worked in medical management for years, got burned out, went to dog grooming school and now own my own dog grooming shop. ...Expand for more
School
lots and lots of schools in my history. I loved the overseas schools the best. My junior and senior year of high school was in Wilmington, NC - what an awful time to be in high school in the south (1968 - 1970). I made some lasting friendships, though. I would love to renew friendships with overseas school friends.
College
attended UNC-Wilmington as nursing major - married and moved - switched to social work major - moved again and majored and graduated with B.A. Sociology/Anthropology
