Thomas's Story
Life
I reside at 12454 Dormouse Road, San Diego, CA 92129-4502. My wife Kathleen (Conte) is a native of Philadelphia. I met Kathleen at college. We have been maried since August 1972. Kathleen is currently the marketing director for an insurance broker in San Diego.
We have two daughters. Kristen, born in 1974, is married to Sean Woodard, a commercial airline pilot. Kristen has three sons, Thomas James - TJ- (born in 2003), Mark (born in 2005), and Jake (born in 2007). Kristen is a staffing assistant for the FBI in San Diego. Karen is married to Brian Nielsen, an FBI Agent in San Diego. She is expecting her first baby (a girl) in February 2010. She is an accountant and HR Director for a moving company in San Diego.

I graduated with a B.A. Degree in History from Villanova University in 1971.
Workplace
I served in the Navy from 1972 to 1977.
In June 1980, I joined the FBI as a Special Agent. From September 1980 until February 1985, I worked in the FBI's Philadelphia office. Between 1985 and ...Expand for more
July 1992, I was assigned to FBI Resident Agency in State College, PA.
In 1992, I transferred to the San Diego FBI office. I was chosen for training as a polygraph examiner. I attended the Department of Defense Polygraph Institute in Ft. McClellan, AL for 14 weeks in 1993, after which I returned to San Diego. Before I retired from the FBI in March 2001, my FBI duties took me to Guam, Oman, and Colombia abroad in addition to many locations in the Continental U.S. I retired in March 2001.
Since April 2001, I have been a polygraph examiner with the San Diego P.D. My work telephone number is (619) 531-2593.
I do private polygraph work on the side. I am listed on the California Association of Polygraph Examiners (CAPE) website.
Military
I attended Navy OCS between January 1972 and May 1972. After graduation, I served aboard USS Albany (CG-10) between May 1972 and October 1974. I joined the pre-commissioning crew of USS Kinakid (DD-965) after leaving the Albany. The Kinkaid was commissioned in Pascagoula, MS in July 1976. I served on that ship until I left the Navy in November 1977.
