Wow - my life in one short paragraph. Well, met a girl while on vacation in Cancun. Viva la Mexico! Did the long-distance thing for a bit - spent a lot of money on airfare and telephone. She moved out in 1995 and we lived in Brooklyn in the house I grew up in until 2001. With her pregnant, and no job lined up, we packed up and moved to Minnesota where her family is from. I struggled looking for work, finally temping for Pillsbury after a summer unemployed. Bonnie and I welcomed our first daughter Lauren into the world on August 30...Expand for more
, 2001. Pillsbury was bought by General Mills shortly after and I shifted to working for them and have been since. In 2002 my mom had a stroke, and she came to live with us. It was a lot of work taking care of her, but gratifying. In 2003 we were blessed with another daughter - Emily, and later that year my mother passed away. We have a lovely house, good family nearby, and a beautiful family. Sometimes having the house that everyone congregates at is a chore - but mostly it is a joy.
