Michael's Story
Life
When I graduated HS, at 17, I imediatly joined the US Marine Corps. Upon finishing boot camp with Plt 3072, M Co, 3rd Recuit Training Bn, I spent the next 6 years of my life traveling around the world. I've seen places like Okinawa, Japan; UAE; Phillipines; Saudi Arabia; Jourdan; Singapore; Kenya and many more. During this time I met a South Texas girl and married her. We had 3 beautiful girls before we got a divorce.I spent the next 5 years of my life going from one job to another trying to make ends me...Expand for more
et and met the woman I am married to now. When she learned of my untimely discharge from the Corps, and in the wake of the tragidies that occured on September 11, 2001, she got me motivated and kept me motivated to join the service again, but because of the type of discharge, I was only alowed in the National Guard, so I joined a Special Forces unit here in AL. I have since Been to Afghanistan in suport of Operations Enduring Freedom and Noble Eagle. I was mobilized again to be deployed in 2006, and again in 2011.
