After all, you only get one life. ---- tgp In life there are always challenges. There are always things that we do that we may not always be aware that we do, or that we tend to forget. Even when you feel that life has dealt you a losing hand and that you have run out of all options, suddenly on the very next hand you are dealt a royal flush. ----tgp A favorite saying of mine that I have had since I was 13 years old is. Life is precious, so don’t die foolishly. It has been said many different ways and many different languages. It holds true for every religious and spiritual belief. The definition is intriguing, for it does not necessarily mean the same thing to everyone who reads it. For some, it is an intervention of a life that was faced with doom. For others it is a message that tells us that our lives are what we make it so do not waste...Expand for more
it on the small things. Others looked at it as a belief that we are here for a short time so cherish those moments in your life, good or bad. For the good days will far outweigh the bad. It is up to you as the reader to decide your own meaning of this saying. For as I have said it holds different meanings for everyone who hears it. Some of us will come to the same conclusions while others will take a different approach. It is ourselves that lead our own destinies. Our own triumphs and our own failures. We control our minds and our spirits. We control our surroundings to the best of our abilities. We heal ourselves and we hurt ourselves. And when we do hurt ourselves, we pick ourselves up and start over. We begin anew and bring forth a fresh dawn into our lives and thus our healing begins. So, when you look at this saying, it mean whatever you wanted to mean. Now this, it means to me that no matter how bad things get in my life. Life is precious, so don’t die foolishly. - tgp".
