Thomas's Story
Life
Lived on Decatur Street for the most part of my life, between Knickerbocker Ave. & Irving Ave. Went to St Martin of Tours and graduated in 1949. Sisters remembered are Mary Joseph & Bernnedet Marie, Teacher Ms. Dottit. Started Bushwick High Sept. '49 & Graduated in June 0f 53. Teacher I remember most is Math teacher Mr. Calhan(hope names spelt right). After high school went to City College of NY for a couple of years, did not finish. my way up through various jobs(consumer service, auditing, etc.)and positions(clerk, management, VP). Was in a number of branches-Ridgewood, 28th Street, 3rd & 72nd St. 5th & 13th St. and Departments; VP, head of Money Center for about 5 years also Citicards and Envelope Processing. In the mean time I moved from NY but continue to miss it. Living free and enjoying it after working all those years. Married, two children, one married and the other married and happy, Still around and kicking. Go to AC on occation, no big wins.(2007)
