Thomas's Story
Life
After High School I joined the Army spending 20 years working in Army Aviation. I retired in 1997 and stayed in North Carolina. I now work on Blackhawk Helicopters as a civilian contractor rebuilding helicopters coming back from Iraq. I am very proud of my military career. I've been to Grenada, Panama, Korea, Alaska, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. I'm very patriotic and fly a flag every day. very proud of my 2 daughters, one of whom is still serving in the Air Force stationed in New Mexico, and the other who spent 4 years in the Air Force and now lives in Atlanta Ga. I have 4 grandchildren 2 girls and 2 boys. I enjoy building and fixing things in my spare time, along with flying RC airplanes, and RV camping. I often think about my days in high school, being on the swim team, wondering what has happened to many of my friends, and I'm thankful for the positive impact many of the teachers had on my life..
