Here's my update. I've been married to Mailyn for 11 years now. We met in Singapore, although she is a Filipina. We have a seven-year-old daughter. We lived in CA for 7 years, then in the Philippines for 3, back here again. We spent New Year¿s Eve 2006 at our home in Mindanao, Philippines, and then packed up and moved back to California. After three years there, I had had enough of it for a while. We will keep our house in Davao, but change our emphasis; instead of living there and traveling to the US, we will live in California and go there sometimes. I returned to the US in March 2006, and made a quick business trips to Ohio and to Texas. I started a new project in Austin, Texas and visited Tom Jr. and family there. In Cleveland on April 1st, 2006, it snowed, I did not like that, so I hurried back to Huntington Beach and bought a new home before Mailyn and Emily arrived, mid - April; we moved in on May 1, 2006. (Our address is 7961 Waterfall Circle, Huntington Beach CA 92648) I HAVE WRITTEN A BOOK "Rebels of Mindanao". Search the web for it. My first novel, Rebels of Mindanao, is scheduled to be published by Beaufort Books, New York, in May 2008. It is a fictional story about the collision of Islam and Christianity in a civil war in the Philippines. The logline is "Maverick ex CIA agent fights al Qaeda in the Philippines". Beaufort is a small publishing house, but is getting some PR now because they are the publisher of the OJ Simpson confession. While waiting for the book to come out, I am writing the screenplay for the story in a workshop run by a producer who also teaches at UCLA Film School and the University of California, Irvine. I teach Global Business Strategy at the University of Phoenix, here at the Southern California Campus and Online.
