Today's date is December 21, 2022, just so anyone who may visit this site can know when the information was updated. I am still retired after working for the State of Oregon (Oregon Youth Authority, Child Welfare and Judicial Department), for 35 years. Within that time there was a seven year period I was appointed to oversee a federal lawsuit filed against the State of Oregon. Once the lawsuit was set aside I returned to the Judicial Department until my retirement. My partner, Tracy, and I live on 23 acres on an area called Lake Labish, which is ten miles north of Salem, Oregon, We have a beautiful view of Mt. Hood, which I climbed 12 times in my mountain climbing years. Most of the acreage is leased to an area onion grower. Neither Tracy nor I are interested in farming. Although I take care of about 6 acres of landscaped property and pasture. I do enjoy riding my lawn mower or my tractor. and just getting "busy" in the dirt as I take care of the property. Lake Labish was a lake many years ago but it was damned for farming and is now some of the riches soil imaginable. In the winter with the heavy rains the lake fills and kayakers enjoy miles of lake. We have many species of birds that call the lake home. I still enjoy golf 3 to 5 times a week, Japanese gardening, bonsai, reading, listening to most music, although I still love the Stones the best. I have two children Christopher and Lara, and three grandchildren, Alexandra, 15years of age, Damion, 12 years of age and Nikita 7 years of age. Alexandra is Chris' daughter, and Damion and Nikita are Lara's sons. Chris is a graphic designer and photographer. Lara and her husband, Greg, own a painting company. We all live in the Salem, Oregon area so it is nice to be close to family. All three grandchildren are excellent students. Ali is the Center Forward...Expand for more
