Thomas's Story
Following Riley, I graduated from the University of Cincinnati, served in the US Navy, tacked on a Masters, was ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church and have spent the last 36 years serving both in the church and in government and industry as a non-stipendiary priest.
For eight years I was a senior city planner for the City of Dayton, Ohio with a specialty in urban renewal and historic district preservation (working both ends of the spectrum on that one!).
Following The City of Dayton, I joined NCR Corporation in the Strategic Planning group then moved to Product Management for the Office Systems Division and eventually in Systems Marketing in the Pacific Group.
After NCR, I moved to EDS to work on the GM account in Troy, MI. and managed interna...Expand for more
l infrastructure projects for the North American Operatons (manufacturing) group.
From EDS it was on to my current position managing IT infrastructure integration of newly acquired companies for Johnson & Johnson.
So that is what has occupied the time since 1963! It has been quite a busy life and I've seen a lot of the world as a result. Seems we all just want to provide for our families, enjoy good friends, and be left alone by others!
For those who might remember, I've always had a passion for flying. I obtained my license following discharge from the Navy and flew privately for about 15 years. The Beaver in the picture was the last aircraft flown in 2006. It was wonderful, but it was my first flight as PIC in a long, long time.
