Thomas's Story

Life Retirement from AT&T gets closer all the time. My wife is working on her PhD, my son has graduated from Benedictine, and is going to Tri C. My daughter is out of the house. Third wedding anniversary is coming up soon. Life is quiet in Bratenahl, restoration of my 1920's house is almost complete. Had my third and. hopefully, last knee surgery after to many years of Tae Kwon Do and kickboxing. Kickboxing continues but more for the aerobic benefit. It's been augmented with Pilates. Graduated from Lake Erie College in '75, got married the following weekend. My wife of 28 years passed away four years ago. ...Expand for more
I do consider myself one of the luckiest guys on the planet. I met a most incredible woman, Kathleen, and we were married in December of 2005. We both enjoy working on the house, restoring it back to it's original 1923 look. Our quiet time is often spent taking our terriers, mack and jack, for long walks through the village and trying to decide which house project to tackle next. Personally, I still listen to my Chopin and Beatles whenever I can. Friday nights almost always finds us at Coventry, we've got a few favorite haunts there. Weekends in the summer we're often exploring the wineries to the east.
