'08 House/lawsuit never destined to be complete. Girls are doing great. Moved up to Director at Kaiser and now I own two departments, Performance and Value Management. Anyone is welcome to drop me a line at (thomas.hawkes at G^M\A_I/L) and catch up.
'07 House still not done. Ellie is 5+, Shay is 4+ (in ~1 mo.), Devin is 2+. I left consulting to try and get more family time, with Kaiser IT, their Performance Management group (doing strategic planning, balanced scorecards, ...). (thomas.hawkes at G^M\A_I/L)
'06 House still not done. Finished out Wells contract and moved to manage a small IT/biz consulting team working onsite w/McKesson Corp. Lawsuit started around house issues.
'05 Kid #3 is dated for mid-May. The house is still not done but sometime in Q1-05 we can hope! Oldest is in preschool and having a blast. Oldest also ALWAYS make sure we don't ever leave out the baby in mommy's tummy. Youngest (for now) is a wild little beast at a 1 yr plus. Both had a great holiday season and were a huge fan of xmas lights. Did 5+ years with the enviro company (LFR) but left that fall and did a contract with Wells Fargo in their Internet Service Group.

ky that Alia goes in gets off quite early and I go in around 8 so we get lots of time with the kiddos considering. House still not done - but hopefully early Q4-2004.
'03 Still with environmental company going on 3+ years. Second daughter Shay Analise Hawkes is born on 9lb 5oz and 21.25" long. This time we induced at 38 weeks because otherwise it was project Shay would have been 11lb! There was no gestational diabetes - just big kids! Start building a house from scratch in the east bay.
'02 We just had our our first baby on March 17th 2002. Her name is Daniela Elyse Hawkes (aka Ellie). She was 9lb 7oz, 22" long. 53 hrs of labor!!! Everyone is healthy and mobile and both Alia and I are taking some time off to be with her and we will be working a reduced schedule (30hrs/wk) for several months.
'01 Finish grad school, find out Alia is pregnant.
'00 Start working with an environmental consulting firm in Emeryville, slug through grad school.
'99 Still working for the battery company, get married to Alia in the spring, buy a house and start grad school that fall.
'98 working as a project chemist for a small R&D battery company trying to develop rechargeable systems. Move in with Alia and move out to El Cerrito (got tired of no parking in Berkeley).
'97 finished by BA in Physical Science from U.C. Berkeley (lots of chemistry/physics/engineering) with a side helping of lots of computer science. Met and started hanging out with my future wife (Alia).
