Thomas's Story
Life
One of the wildest things I ever did in school was playing some tricks on MASOMA girls as a ROINES pledge and serenading one of them in front of the whole cafeteria. After starting school at Butler I joined the Air Force during the Vietnam War. I was supposed to be a Russian interpreter but ended up crewing F-4 fighter jets. As a kid I always wanted to be a fighter pilot when I grew up. My family thought that was just a kid's dream. After that I married (we have been married 42 years) and finished business school at Indiana University (magna). I went to work for INB until I moved to Scottsdale, AZ for my career. rst moved to a C level executive position including the office of the CEO. After 12 years there, I started another bank for GM which is now Ally Bank. To do that I traveled from Atlanta to Philadelphia or Wilmington every week for two years with the exception of a few weeks after 9/11. We have two grown sons that are now married and live here in Atlanta. I have five beautiful granddaughters ranging in age from 11 to 2. I have been the COO for TSYS Debt Management in Atlanta since January 2, 2003.
I blow off steam by getting outdoors and I am an avid tennis player (my oldest son and I are doubles partners in the Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association) and still like to play basketball. My absolute favorite way to relax is to do things or spend time with my granddaughters.
My obsession is sports and my 5 angels but my wife and kids tell me it is politics.
