Thomas's Story
After graduating I was going to be drafted by the Army and decided to join the Air Force. I was in for four years and studied electronics. When I got out I went to Kansas State University and got a degree in biology. After a couple of jobs I joined the Kansas Air National Guard for some extra money and it became a full time civil service career. I worked on an F-4 simulator, repaired computer boxes on the F-16 and B-1 bomber and ended up switching over to being a jet engine mechanic rebuilding the engines on the B-1 to end my career. just happened to be at the right age to retire in May of 2007.
I have been married twice and the second one, her name is Alice, is the keeper. I was never blessed with children but have supported many children in poverty-stricken areas which in turn have been a blessing to me.
I've played music all my life and now lead a praise band, with my wife Alice, at my church and volunteer to play at several nursing homes in the area. I live in the country and my land has a river on the east side of our property so there's lots of wildlife to enjoy. I've always loved the outdoors.
