Thomas's Story

Life Track, cross-country, band, orchestra, choir, madrigals, electronics club, astronomy club. Served in VietNam w/ IIIrd Marine Division. BAE Secondary Instrumental Music from Pacific Lutheran University 1979. Married 1981, divorced 1994, one son (b. October '84). Finally moved back to LJ permanently (so I thought) in 1999. Was an active member of La Jolla Cove Swim Club, La Jolla American Legion, La Jolla Lutheran Church. But now live in Boulder, MT (St. John's Lutheran, Helena, and even in the summer the Boulder River is too cold for swimmin'). chool I didn't have any BIG crushes, I just chased any girl who couldn't outrun me (my being on the track and cross country teams helped a bit). My favorite teacher was Arne Christiansen (band and madrigals). If I could do it all over again knowing what I know now, ABSOLUTELY! If I had to do it all over again with only the social skills I had back then, NO WAY! Might not be funny or crazy, but for senior ditch day, I went down to the beach at Windansea, and I had the whole beach to myself. Even the kids who routinely cut class to go surfing didn't show up. The sudden solitude was a refreshing break. Now, of course, you can't find a parking spot there at 4 a.m. on January 12th.
