Beatrice's Story
Life
After graduating from Montclair State in 1967, I went on to teach high school English for three years. After that I went to work for the government, becoming the first female special agent in the Newark District of the IRS. I am still a special agent, having moved from IRS to HUD in 1984. I have lived in Houston, New Orleans, Syracuse and Arlington, Texas, where I have lived for the past 20 years. wed in my footsteps in law enforcement. I travel to NJ often to see my mother, who is suffering from leukemia. I'd love to hear from any of you PHS alums out there!!!
Workplace
I taught high school English in Paterson and Whippany, from 1967 to 1970, when I went to work for the IRS as an instructor/revenue agent. In 1973, I became a special agent with the Criminal Investigation Division. I continued as a special agent until 2002, both with the IRS and HUD OIG, when I retired. I am presently an intelligence analyst with the federally funded drug task force.
