Life
Newspaper copy editor now. Was in Army (1994-98) and National Guard (2001-05), took a 10-month trip to Iraq in 2004. Out of the military now, married, working and doing Civil Air Patrol volunteer work. Am moving to farthest regions of New England soon, which oughta be a hell of a change. Married in Jan 2007 to Megan; she just completed her Master's in Journalism at the University of Missouri. No kids yet...no decision on when to have kids. No hurry, either.

Military
Army (1994-98), Logistics Specialist. Boring. Was at Fort Bragg, NC the whole time.
North Carolina National Guard (2001-2005), spent 10 months in Iraq as a Military Intelligence analyst with 1/120th Infantry, 30th Heavy Separate Brigade. Not a fun time, but it certainly provided a perspective on life and politics I would not have otherwise...I don't regret going, but I regret the Iraq War. Left the military for the second and LAST time in June 2005. Interests include foriegn affiars and US military affairs.
