Thomas's Story

Spouse We met at South Padre Island, Texas over Memorial Day weekend in 1980. Kids Oldest daughter is married and living not too far away. She is teaching in the local school district (League City) and her husband is self-employed. My youngest graduates from Friendswood high school in 2011 and is currently planning to attend the University of Alabama to major in Communications. Geologist) of the Astromaterials Research Group in the Science, Application, Research and Development (SARD) Department at the Johnson Space Center. During the span of 2004-2008, I managed the Stardust Project that returned samples from comet Wild-2 in January 2006. I spend the majority of my time as a manager overseeing ~ 26 research labs and ~ 30 PhD Planetary Scientist conducting research supporting the Astromaterials Research & Exploration Sciences (ARES) directorate at JSC/NASA.
