Tiffany's Story
I went to city college on and off for years. My first paid job while still in HS was teaching dance classes in T.O. After HS graduation I worked for my father's company a couple of years in accounting and QC. Eventually through a series of full-time and p/t jobs (yes I worked at Macy's pushing lipstick for a few years), I ended up in a customer care department for a local compay that makes pharmaceutical filters. As an adult I attended RCIA in '95 -'96 and became a Christian through Baptism, Reconciliation, Holy Communion and Confirmation (all in the same Mass!).
I met my husband at work, we married in '97, we have four kids... and five pets. I mos...Expand for more
tly work from home, schooling my kids and being a housewife. This is really funny considering the only class I failed in high school was "Family"! After the birth of my second daughter, who was born at home with a home birth midwife of 30 years, I decided to train professionally with DONA as a labor and birth coach. I have since developed my own natural childbirth curriculum for private instruction in my home.
I recently also went back to my roots of teaching dance. I taught in the preschool division at a local performings arts academy last season and this season I started working for a local ballet school/company in their Creative Movement division.
