Tiffany's Story
Life
I'm a 25-yr-old college student at Midwestern State University, outreach leader at the Baptist Student Ministry (BSM), member of First Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, co-founder of SOLD OUT Young Adult Fellowship events (see blogs for more info), & a single mom to a beautiful, spirited little 5-yr-old girl named Ashlyn.
I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in psychology (my passion) & a masters in counseling at seminary. I have a heart for junior high girls, & feel God may be calling me to work in the youth ministry. My first event will be in January leading a Disciple Now weekend with 7th grade girls. I'm crazy about all 8 of my nieces & nephews, but especially my 13- & 14-yr-old nieces, Hannah & Caylee. There is a special place in my heart for those two. :-D God has also instilled a strong desire within me to do mission work overseas. Where, when, & how long I don't know. I'm still waiting for God to put all that into place. :-)

sisters. I admit, there were times I'd fallen way off track & lived only for myself, but praise God He rescued me from that pit & brought me under the umbrella of His protection. I handed Him the reigns of my life on July 21, 2005, & have watched in amazement as He has restored my fortunes before my very eyes. Once a partier who selfishly gratified every need I had & gave my heart to any man who came along, I am now 100% sold out to Jesus Christ & have given up the world & its low standards. God has given me the ability & the desire to give up all things unglorifying to Him. I'm by no means perfect, nor does God want me to be, because then I would have no need for Christ. I simply strive to make Him happy and, in return, He has filled me with an inner peace and joy that no other person or thing can ever provide. He has lifted the yoke of slavery from my neck and bestowed on me a crown of beauty instead of ashes. He has forgiven me & made my broken heart whole again. I am living proof that there is a God, that He answers prayers, & that He can do the impossible!
