st beautiful and sweet girls, Breathe and Alight: watching them grow is the greatest joy of my life. In addition to playing in the mud, painting ourselves from head to toe at least once a week and laughing at silly games, I write incessantly, teach a few wonderful classes full of wonderful children, cherish the friendships I've made and stand in awe of all that I've been given. I hate shoes, adore mountains (views of which seriously nourish my soul), can be stupidly stubborn, am generally intensely loyal, enjoy cooking, swimming and reading pretty much anything I can get my hands on. I also try to remember that someone somewhere is watching me and to be thoughtful because every action I take today can be a memory I regret or cherish tomorrow. If given half an opportunity, I --will--- indulge my love of chocolate. Strangers are friends I haven't met yet, has her hand held by God regularly. I'm not superstitious but love the ghost stories (one of the funniest stories I've ever heard was about three cowboys and the ghosts they encountered). When it's all said and done, I just pray that I leave my girls a legacy of faith, family, laughter and emotion that will help them truly believe they are loved more than anything on the planet. And I really am excited about the day that I get to SEE God "high and lifted up" as I sing directly to Him.".
