I went into US Navy right out of high school and returned home after 3 years of service. I went into trucking right afterwards. I enjoy the open road and the peace and quiet that comes with it. Home time is important also with my kids. Rachael is off to College and little Tim is in third grade. I joined the Gansevoort volunteer Fire department after getting discharged from the Navy, I am now a life member and I work my way up the ladder to chief. I am proud of my accomplishments and I am getting ready to retire in about 10 years. Life is good. I always wanted to be a fireman when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a weird idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I go fishing by myself If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have Total concentration, focus, and staminia to be able to deal with the day-to-day. The birth of my son, born premature 4 weeks and had to spend time at Albany medical center for 2 months If I could improve my home, I'd remodel Basement and add on a Deck. My dream home would be with a pool and hottub.
