Life
I graduated from UCLA - BA'64, MA'66 in design. I married Mitzi Yoshioka in 1968, a UCLA classmate who I met while on a university sponsored trip to India. st several years I have also taught in the graduate programs at Carnegie Mellon University (currently "Designing and Leading a Business in the MBA school). I sit on the boards of the MIT Enterprise Forum, the Pittsburgh Folk Music Society, and the local tennis club.
Harriet and I enjoy traveling to see our far flung family (New Zealand, Los Angeles, Houston). We celebrated the marriage of daughter Sachi at the beach in Central California last summer to a fellow journalist. We play a lot of tennis in the summer and platform tennis in the winter. We also regularly take a house on the beach with family in Cayucos, CA for a couple of weeks each summer to tap into my California roots with a little body surfing and kyaking. Currently, I'm trying to re-engage my artistic interests by taking up water color painting.
