y are now married with families of their own. With the year (2021) coming to a close shortly we’ve decided to spend two weeks on the Seabourn Odyssey cruising the Caribbean. Unless our trip is changed by the pandemic, we’ll be leaving from Barbados in early December. January 2022 should find us back on Casey Key, Florida again spending the warm days walking the beach. March 2022 - The two weeks we spent in the Caribbean in December was a great get away from Michigan’s cold weather. The Seaborne Cruise Line is fantastic! Because of the pandemic we had 152 passengers on a ship that normally carries 450. January 2022 put us back on Casey Key. Wonderful place to spent the worst part of Michigan’s winter. Walking the beach in the warm sun, biking on the Legacy Trail, dining out at Gulfside restaurants. Time we’ll spent. Now if spring would just hurry now that we’re back in Michigan for the summer. Reservations already made for Casey Key accommodations for next January! Another Seabourn Cruise booked for this August (2022). This time we’re headed to Alaska.
Alaska is more spectacular then I ever could have imagined. We were on the same ship that we were on in the Caribbean last December so that was great. Everything was familiar. Went to three glaciers. We were in zodiacs, a kayak and a 27 foot canoe with 12 other people. No idea yet where the next cruise will be.
Next trip will be back to Florida after New Years. January 2023 when there’s a clear weather shot between Michigan and Florida we drive south.
Today November 25, 2022 my wife and I are celebrating our 52nd wedding anniversary.
Jan. 2023 to March was spent on the Gulf Coast again. Love being on Casey Key. No cruise this year. Booked one for 2024. Florida will see us back in Aug for a short get away.
