Tim's Story
Life
After high school I spent 2 years at Van Nuys Valley College then moved to the Bay area attending S.F. State for 2 years then moved to the Monterey area and ultimately spent 18 years there. The first 5 I spent living very cheaply in a place without any utilities and got good at building fires, reading by kerosene lamp and riding long distances on my bicycle. I worked in a little pottery shop making tourist things and then spent a few years selling books,first as an employee and then as a co-owner. Made a big shift in '85 and started work as a carpenter. came a massage therapist in '96, moved to Cathedral City (near Palm Springs) in '98 and lived in that general area for about 8 years. In 2006 I moved to Mount Shasta, CA. I travel to the Seattle area a lot where I have a clientele and still do carpentry as a sideline. Variety is the spice of life. I love to travel, see more and more of this beautiful earth and meet lots of really great people. Spending time in awesome natural places is one of the highlights of my life. For work, I love doing massage the most though carpentry is a great change of pace and uses different parts of my brain -and body. The future is a welcome unknown.
