Tim's Story
Life
After all of these years I still live in Estero, Florida. I live with my two children in a new home within a gated community on the Estero River. Being in our new home is a lot different from our old home that was on five acres. The home is big, but the lot is smaller and our neighbors live closer to us. My daughter Kaitlin is 17, and is a junior this year. She is in all honors and AP classes. She is ranked number 22 out of 389 students at the school she goes to. My son Zack is 12, and is in the sixth grade. HeÂs been a straight A student since kindergarten. Both my children may sound a little geek, but there not. know why he wants to swim in the river. My daughter used to play softball, but is now into music and boys. She likes to read many books, such as, Anne Rice, Mark Z. Danielewski, Goethe Faust, and J.K. Rowling. She wants to major in Anthropology when she gets to FGCU. As for me, I am still in the fire service, and work for one of the largest fire departments in SW Florida. I am one of the eight high ranking bosses there. We have a staff of 129 employees and operate with a 30 million dollar budget. I am looking forward to my retirement in eight years. So I ride my Harley back in forth from work everyday because I want too. I do have a staff vehicle to drive, but recently learned about community deed restrictions. ThatÂs all for now, hope to reconnect with some old friends.
