Timothy's Story
After High school joined the US Navy. After being discharged attended MCCC and Americus University receiving a BA in Business Management and a MBA from Berkley University. I married my wife of 42 years ,Dora, and accepted a position with the State of NJ Dept. of Human Services as an investigator in Medicaid Fraud. I left the State after one year and accepted a position with the US Postal Service, serving in numerous management positions and retired in 1995 as Postmaster.
I then worked in my brother-in -laws electrical business, returning to MCCC for 4 years to receive my journeyman papers.. I left the electrical business in 2003 and accepted a position with the State of NJ Dept. of Health as a Procedures Analyst. We have two children, Christopher, who worked for the Treasury Department for 5 years after college graduation, and then decided to follow his dream job, and left Treasury employment to become a dealer at a Casino.He now is a manager for Amazon, and Amy, who works for the N.J. State Police.
I absolutely love my position at the NJ Department of Health. By the way I can retire anytime that I feel ready. Just not ready.
Ready now, I retired as of July 1 2015, after 45 years in government.
We have now become snow birds and head south for the winter.
After spending the
winter here in Sarasota/Bradenton
we have decided to purchase a home and closed in April. We are now full time Floridians.
Well update...
I am now divorced living in Bradenton/Sarasota Fl area.
