Tim's Story
1979 - are we dinosaurs or what? Lately I've been thinking how long ago the 90's were, and then you see that number - 1979 - and it hits you like -40 wind chill.
Do you feel like you were starting your future 30 years ago?
The basics for me are:
B.S. in Business Administration from Valparaiso University in Indiana 1983.
First job was at Hughes Aircraft in LA.
Moved back to MN in 1987, I'm not a big fan of LA.
Got married in 1988 in Poland - still married, we celebrate our 21st anniversary this year.
Worked at Target HQ in Accounting and Finance from 1988 - 1997.
Received a Masters degree in Int'l Management from St. Thomas in 1997 (5 years of night school).
My son was born in 1993.
Moved to Connecticut...Expand for more
in '97 for a job opportunity for my wife.
Was hired by LEGO in 1998, and have been there ever since. Right now my job title is Manager - Consumer Insights. Basically I do market research with kids.
So I have been in New England for almost 12 years already, but I am still an avid Twins and Wolves fan; I like the Vikes but it's frustrating because they don't have a QB and don't seem interested in getting one.
I like living out here a lot and can't see myself moving back to MN, but I'm a Minnesotan at heart and will always be one.
It's not looking good for me to get out there for the reunion but it would be fun to see everyone again.
