I live in the SE corner of Az at 5000' in the toe of the Chiricahuas on 40 acres of oak grassland crossed by a seasonal creek. We're 26 miles from the Post Office, 12 miles from the gas pump, and 50 miles from the nearest Safeway. Been here 21 years in January. Am married (31 years so far this time)to Vicki Marvick, who I met in Tucson in 1976. She and I worked together as a mutually potentiating team for 20 some years. She was my business manager and editor. She ran a nonprofit organization we co-founded for a while as well. Recently, Vic started a new career as an elementary school teacher at a small community school in Sunizona. She is the special ed teacher and this year also has 15 third, fourth and fifth graders. Can you imagine going to a school with that kind of student-teacher ratio? I miss working with her, but enjoy seeing her personal aspirations being realized. We have 3 daughters, one of whom is still at home. Gwen, 16 (going on 23), our late surprise, and my youngest, is very athletic and is on the starting Varsity teams in volleyball, basketball and softball at the local high school (VUHS).
