Life
Okay, if you read my announcement, this is where it continues, after being
forced by the system to take the multiple choice test and answering "other"
at every opportunity.
I didn't go to college right out of high school and felt like I never wanted to
go back to school. I worked on cars for a year at various places and then
came around and attended U.-Mass., Boston where I was an English major,
took several theater classes and earned a B.A..
Since then I've worked mostly in film and television. I've gripped and gaffed
feature films, was a producer for NESN for four years, have produced and
shot many industrial films, had a brief stint with a casting agency and lots of
other gigs.
Currently, I work at the cable access station in Canton which is a blast.
They sent me to Washington, D.C. with a group of veterans and I did four
shows on their visits to the World War Two, Korean and Vietnam memorial
sites and their trip to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Working locally is a nice change from what I had done, which was working

films and often being out of state for weeks at a time. It was
fun but I have a lot more freedom now. In addition to cable, I also teach
acting classes in Boston and freelance on film projects. This summer I
was hired to shoot a short film and also to direct a pilot for Comedy Central.
I've acted in two independent feature films this year and also was in a play,
"The Illusion", last year. Theater is fun but much more of a time
committment than a small film role.
I like to write fiction, plays and films. I currently have submissions in to
both theater and film festivals. I've written, shot and edited about twenty
short films in the past five years and am working hard to make something
happen.
I'm still into cars and have a '57 Chevy two door hardtop (327 4bbl., 4
speed, 4:56 gears.) I've also shot a variety of documentary pieces over
the years at various race tracks.
I'm single but would like to get married and have kids, although I'll be
ancient when they're in high school.
I'd love to hear from anybody who wants to say hi!
