Tim's Story
After high school, I headed to college on an Air Force scholarship. Much to their dismay (and mine), calculus and I just did not get along and you don't get far in engineering without it. Oh well... Back to Brainerd for a short while, then I enlisted in the Air Force.
Over a 20 year career, I spent more than 10 years overseas between duty stations, deployments and TDYs. After Basic and Tech School, I started at Minot AFB, North Dakota, with Strategic Air Command. Then on to Misawa AB, Japan, and RAF Edzell, Scotland, with Electronic Security Command. Next was Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, with Systems Command followed by RAF Molesworth with United States European Command. Last, and definitely my least favorite tour, Offutt AFB, Nebraska, with Air Intelligence Agency. I retired from the Air Force in April 2001.

e hires anything other than entry level without a college diploma, I went back to school and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Networking.
In 2003, I got hired at United States Strategic Command and worked for them until US Space Command was established in August 2019. As of December 2019, Donna and I moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where I will continue to work for USSPACECOM at Schriever AFB, CO.
I met Donna while stationed in England in 1994 and we married in 1995. Donna retired from the Air Force in 2007 and became a housewife. Kyle, her son from a previous marriage, graduated from Grace University, Omaha, May 2015.
We've now gone on three cruises: ocean cruises to Alaska in 2010, New Zealand in 2012. and a river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam in 2015. I've posted some pictures in the photo album if you want to take a look.
