Timothy J.'s Story
Greetings Fellow Earthlings~
So far so good... I live in Thousand Oaks (Newbury Park), Ca and have 2 boys in the house. Jake and Christian who are 10 and 13 years old and both are a ball of fire.... So Jessica, Myself and the boys compete for space weekly! Can you relate to that?
I have been in the Fire Suppression industry since leaving high-school and the profession has treated me well. We have a boat and love to hit the lake but I need a lot more time to hit the beach and skate park with Jake. Both boys love to hit Pismo Beach with the quads....
There are many things about me that would supprise people, so I will just hold off until we can actually talk....
Shoot me an E Mail some time...
School
I couldn't wait to get out of school and now have found myself attending courses for the past 20 years. If Ya knew then what ya know now, right....
Well no complaints... It has all worked out very well for me....
College
My college days were spent in different levels of fire academies. I lived in different fire stations in the early years and did the educational grind as needed. I graduated local and Federal fire academies and teach...Expand for more
at the local and National level for fire related courses.
I also serve as a professional advisor to the Federal Fire Engine CaptainÂs group here in California as well as a member of an Incident Management Team that responds to continental and international disaster relief efforts.
Workplace
I have been in the Fire Suppression industry since 1986 after high school. I have served as a Firefighter, Lead Firefighter, Assistant Engineer, Engineer, Captain, and now serve as a Battalion Chief in the Los Angeles area.
I do a lot of technical development and scientific trending for the Government and also do private consulting on the side in the Tech Development field related to international wildfie program development.
I also have a Teaching Credential in Fire Sciences and also have served as the President for the Federal Fire Engine Captains group for the Federal Government (Ca - Region 5).
No idea where the crazy train will stop, but so far so good... I really am busy specifically in the summers but have a great flexible schedule in the winters that allow me some family, fun and friend time...
Life is good, things are great... Tim
