Timothy's Story
After graduating from HS I joined the Navy (SeaBees). I spent 4 years traveling the world and never spent more than 30 minutes on a ship. After being discharged I tried working in construction but I had a hard time adjusting to civilian life and I was dealing with an injured back. I eventually went back to school for engineering and drafting and landed a job with the Port of Portland as a CAD technician. A few years later I got a job with the Oregon Dept. of Fish & Wildlife as an engineering tech. sign section. That job lasted 4 months, the department wanted me to do computer support for the bridge engineers which is basically what I'm doing now. I work as a Information Systems Specialist for ODT supporting many different sections with in the agency. I married my better half Susan some 11 years ago. At that time I had known Susan for almost 16 years. We have 5 children, 15 grandchildren and as of today (11/4/08) we are great grandparents! Susan and I have a two acre home in Gates Oregon just off of Hwy. 22. While Susan is very involved in her church, I on the other hand am a avid 2nd Amendment nut job.
