Timothy's Story
As far as high school went, the only classes I really enjoyed were choir, Latin, and geometry. They made me stretch in ways I hadn't before, and none of the other classes did.
After graduation I tried part of a semester at Waste Valley (went back to grammar school, geographically!) but had no purpose there. Even more discouraging was seeing the honest, principled man lose to the BS-salesman in the election. I thought maybe I could make a difference, just a little, by serving my country. Silly me.
I went in an idealist and stayed that way, but was naive enough to think that Walter Cronkite and his crowd we giving us the straight skinny. Y'know, a misinformed idealist can be a real PITA.

nother political disaster, one that may well turn the present economic downturn into a full-scale world-wide depression.

11 March 2014 -- The stooge from Chicago, the imitation President goes ever forward carrying the standard of the most expensive clown show in history. The circus' brass band (formerly called "the press"), the ticket takers (IRS) and the ushers (FBI) keep the rubes in their seats to watch every carefully staged scandal and distraction, so that the grifters will have plenty of time to pillage every house, business, and bank account, leaving nothing when the circus leaves town.
