Timothy's Story

I am a retired Special Ed. teacher now working as a activities director at Hillcrest Retirement Home in Bartonsville. I had a very bad accident falling off a ladder years ago and had to have reconstructive surgery and I think the worst part was the therapy. I used to picture the physical therapists walking around in leather bustias and carrying bullwips but they did a good job since I can move my arm and leg. The dr's did a good job on my face but I wish they could have made me more handsome. LOL. I love riding my motorcycle with my youngest son and even by myself. Patty is my biker chick (I think she grinds her teeth when I call her that). We have traveled all around the country and Canada and are looking bac...Expand for more
k to going some of the places we visited for a longer stay. My favorite place to visit and possibly live is West Yellowstone, Wyoming. I love it out there. Ok Oregon was pretty awesome on the coast too. Iguess I will have to think some more. I am writing a book and don't see it being finished anytime soon. There are some people that I see the names that graduated when I did and I say to myself who the heck is that. To you I apologize because my memory is very bad. I got asked in the store today if I got the seinor discount! Yeah I am officially old looking and I thought it was bad the first time I was called sir. Ok take care and if you feel like it write me I am always up for writing back to someone. Tim

Today's news tells of Chadwick Boseman's Passing in his 40's. It makes me appreciate that I was able to overcome Colon Cancer. So many people ignore the symptoms, and signs. Yes I did, I was Lucky The Lord was with me wh
So today was shopping day, I usually take pop.to Shop rite on Wednesdays. Well not until this pandemic is over. I donned my gloves and face mask and felt a little silly at first until I saw all the other folks in theirs.
Diabeties:

So last night I had difficulty staying asleep which was nothing new. I was flipping through the TV channels and ended up on PBS. There was a documentary on diabeties. Now I am a diabetic as of about two years

Finally am getting better. Wednesday had to be rushed to the ED my body was trying to shut down. I spent time in the ICU, I'd now I'm cvtele. They worked very hard to keep me alive. I ended up getting a third n-g tube.
What is this? Another day with sun in the sky. How long before we will have drout warnings and burning bans.
It is amazing that I can feel this great only after a month after surgery and then going into toxic shock. Jesus has my back. He is truly my savior.
Okay, we almost are done with 2018. Let us hope 2019 is better. If not for the Lord, family and friends I would probably never gotten through it. Here's to a healthy New Year to you all.

We have been doing this for a while. It is a Bible study that goes about an hour. If you have a chance, take a chance, we try to make it fun and interactive. We also have a prayer hour on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.Yo
