Tina's Story
Life
Joined the Army after high school. I did enjoy the military and served my time at Ft. Sam Houston, Ft. Leonardwood Missouri, and was stationed in Germany for three wonderful years. Went to Desert storm and completed my Army obligation in 1991.
I was married for 10 years and have a wonderful son who is about to turn 19 this week.... Where did the time go? I have been blessed with such a good son who has been the one of two constant things in my life... the second is my belief in God whom has always been by side through my some trying times.
I was engaged to be married again and called that off after realizing that maybe he just was not the right person for me. I have been dating my current guy William for five years now. If I were to marry again I would like to do it soon. William is a wonderful person and a great friend also.
Went to school here in Savannnah and obtained my nursing degree. I love Savannah and decided to stay and I have worked as a registered nurse in OB/GYN, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and in Endoscopic Procedures at Memorial Health Univerisity Medical Center in Savnnah GA :)
I recently have moved over to Information T...Expand for more
echnologies area of services, as a nursing consultant for multiple computer programs being implemented and maintained at the same hospital. I look forward to a new direction of service, as the Information Technology Services seems to be the future of most hospitals. My new job will give me greater flexibility and my aching feet some rest :)
I find Savannah to be a great place and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. In Savannah it always feels like I am on vacation, especially downtown.
Savannah is very pretty and the southern people are refreshing to be around with their laid back ways.
I love to travel state side and out of country..... I am in need of a vacation now! I never really took to much time off for me, so now I enjoy any time away and short trips around Georgia and stateside. I took my first ski trip to Colorado and I see why people love to ski. I mostly enjoy Mexico and the beaches.
I really enjoy spending time with friends and family having good food, fabulous wine and great times... I continue to joke and laugh all the time at work with friends and patients.... I am still the same corky girl... just a little more grown up now :)
