Tina's Story
Life
By the way...I go by the name Rhiannon now...
This is my bio as it reads on my website. Where is the website? Just go to any search engine and type in either T. Rhiannon Cotter or Rose of Blood.
T. Rhiannon Cotter has been an artist since her very early childhood.
Some of her earliest memories are of spending time in the cemeteries of Wilmington,
North Carolina, drawing vampires and reading horror fiction or local ghost stories.
This was the beginning of her love affair with the gothic side of life.
Rhiannon has been diligently applying her talents for many years professionally.
She got her start in the gothic underground when Leilah Wendell displayed
her pen and ink drawings at Westgate Necromantic Gallery in New Orleans.
Her hauntingly beautiful and alluring images were soon combined
with the exquisitely dark renderings of her long time friend, P. Morgan Ravenstone.
His angular and bold style was a perfect combination for Rhiannon's
sensuously rounded and enticing technique. Realizing they shared mutual
dreams and goals for their art they decided to form a business together
and created Rose of Blood in October of 1...Expand for more
993.
Their first catalog debued October 31, 1993 and since then their work has
appeared in twenty-nine gothic magazines world wide.
They also found a listing in Mick Mercer's book Gothic Rock that same year.
In late 1994, Rhiannon's work appeared on the cover of The Marsh Vampire and Other Horrors
by local author Frances Nordan. The cover proved to be a lasting collaboration
of their talents. By the year 2001, Rhiannon also had covers on
three other books by Nordan, Night Games, Night Magic, and New Orleans Vampires.
In October of 1995, The Vampire Lestat Fan Club commissioned a design to appear
as the official t-shirt for the Memnoch Ball. The design was approved by Anne Rice
herself and was a sell-out at the Ball. The same year, her work appeared
on the cover of a fan newsletter for California based gothic band, The Prophetess.
Rhiannon's talents are now being applied to several personal projects,
including a Tarot deck and a book dealing with a unique style of magick
that the world has never seen before. She will do commissioned work
for any project desirous of romantically dark and painstakingly
detailed pen and ink art.
