Tina's Story
I got married the year we graduated. I worked as an orthodontic assistant for three years. I was fortunate to be able to be a stay-at-home Mom for 9 years. This was my true calling. I loved every minute of it.
After the nine years at home, I went to work in an elementary school running the computer lab. This was a good job, especially with all of the breaks in a school year. or 12 years I am finally a federal employee. I am a financial analyst. Alas, I am a number geek. Yes, I know that is shocking, but it's true. In a nutshell I track the expenses for my organization and report to mangement where the funding was spent and their available balance. There's a lot more involved but there's no sense boring anyone reading this with details.
I have been learning Tai Chi. It is a great exercise for balance and strength. If you have never tried it you are missing out on something great.
