Tina's Story
Life
I have a son, daughter, two stepdaughters, two son-in-laws, and a beautiful granddaughter. My husband and I are both ministers. I graduated from college in 2004. My husband has his own business and also works in the lumber industry and I homeschool our two youngest children. I also have started delivering flowers to 10 stores in Mississippi and areas in Alabama with my youngest daughter. It is approximately 14 to 20 hours a week and it gives me some extra spending money to remodel my home. I also work at a local gym part-time. It gives me a chance to workout and continue to lose weight. I gained a lot of weight while I was in college and taking care of my mother-in-law while she had cancer. I have lost 70 lbs. and have another 60 lbs. to go. I also write and participate in a lot of church act...Expand for more
ivities and do mission work. I have gone on a mission trip to Jamaica and I hope to be going to Honduras soon. I enjoy mission work! My son is 18 years old (he is in the National Guard now), our youngest daughter is 15, and my stepdaughters are 21 and 23. My stepdaughters graduated from Colbert County High School. I was saved when I was 21 years old and 6 months pregnant with my son. It is so amazing how having Jesus as Lord of my life has changed my life. I learned the difference between a relationship with Jesus Christ and attending a church building. I knew of religion growing up and did not really find it appealing but a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is so much different than just being religious. Jesus has brought a peace in my heart and a joy that I could not find in anything else!
