Tina's Story

Life I currently live in the foothills of the Virginia piedmont with my husband of 17 years and our 12-year-old son. I've lived here for almost 8 years. I earned a BS in journalism at Maryland in 1988, then got married in '89 and moved to Pensacola, FL, where my husband entered Navy flight school. We stayed in Florida for many ye...Expand for more
ars and, after living in Virginia Beach briefly, my husband left the Navy and we moved for his new civilian job with GE Financial Assurance. I stayed at home for many years, then got an MS in information sciences from the Univ. of Tennessee in spring '03, and now work as a part-time reference librarian at a local community college.
