Tina's Story

Life Hey everybody!!!! I have been very busy since High School. I WAS married for 12 years, I have two beautiful children ages 14 and 18. My 18 year old is a freshman at ECU. The 14 year old is a freshman at SSHS and she acts just like me. God Help me!!! I am a CCU RN at Catawba ValleY Medical Center. I love my job!!! I have been getting very educated since High School. I completed a Master's Degree in Health Care Administration and Nursing Education in 06. I am currently working on an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from Duke University. I plan to finish in August of 08. I spend my time working, going to school and enjoying my children. We like going to the beach, hiking, snow skiing, working in the yard and just being a family. ed High School. We had so much fun. I am just grateful I am not dead from the things we did. I remember working on the homecoming float and having way to much beer. I do wish I would have applies myself more to school work rather worrying about boys and parties. I remember getting busted by Mrs. Woodruff kissing Danny Starnes at my locker. Oh God, and what about Bertie Herman's English class. Too much fun. College I went to Lees McRae right out of HighSchool but didn't finish. After I had my second child, I went to LR in Hickory and completed my nursing degree. I completed a masters degree in HealthCare Administration and Nursing education with University of Phoenix on line. I am almost finished with my Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree with Duke University. My plan is to work in the Critical Care Center at Catawba Valley Medical Center with our Intensivist.
