I went to travel school after high school and I'm STILL in travel, specialize in Corp (Harris) and Govt (PAFB) travel. Now I am MIS for BCD Travel. I was able to do a little traveling after high school and before my daughter was born. Then, all effort went into raising her. The only travel I did after that was camping in various springs and beaches around Florida. Stayed in Brevard County and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Daughter turned out to be my karma. LOL!!
Now, I'm a grandma of 2 beautiful baby girls, one is 2 years and the other is 1 yr. They are a BLAST!!
Would love to hear from anyone from the 76-78 timeframe from Satellite High.

1978-30 year class reunion-Jul 25, 26, 27 2008
What a blast! Rhonda Shane (now Butler) did a great job putting all that together. I know, I was on the committee-Rhonda was relentless!! But it was worth it.

dn't attend my senior year in classes. I still graduated with the class, went to prom, football games, ect. But I was very surprised how much I heard, "I don't remember him or her" at the reunion and that includes ME!-Truth is, I think half the school was wasted back then including the teachers! It was a really fun time for me at Satellite (and DeLaura). I am happy to say I made it through all the choas of 'sex-drugs and rock roll' and glad I did. Drugs and alcohol were a big part of my life back then and took me to some very dark places later in life that I hope to never see again; then I had to grow up. Thirty years later I can't BELIEVE I did some of the things I did and lived to talked about them! What a learning lesson! Today there is nothing I would change about my life because it took all the choas of the past to get where I am today. It was a tough road but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I pray for all of those who have passed away due to the continued use of drugs and alcohol. I know they are in a better place and their families will continue to hurt. To those families: I still pray for my classmates and their families, so please know we still think of you and your loved ones.
