Too funny...snakes pops up as one of my interests! Ha! I just allow my son to have a few unusual pets. Unfortunatley, reptiles/amphibians are hard to keep alive & Dude(gecko),Fluffy (greensnake), and Frodo (tree frog) are now deceased. I'm currently teaching Art, painting & homeschooling my 3 'tweenagers'. (11,13 & 15) I love it, except when we are having a bad day & a school bus goes by... We try to plan our vacations around what we are studying & have had the opportunity to do some really cool stuff. We have helped on an Archeological dig, helped biologists count migrating raptors from on top of a mountain, found fossilized dinosaur tracks... My kiddos have earned Junior Ranger badges from about 18 National Parks. I don't think there will be anymore, at Pictured Rocks National Seashore, MI, I tried to sign them up & I received groans. During our beautiful wooded 6 mile hike along cliffs & the lake, I heard,"Mom, why can't we just go to Florida like everyone else." We love music. We play RockBand alot.
