Tina's Story
Hello People!
This site is pretty good I see many people I remember and am now in touch with a few of them.
I moved to Kauai,Hawaii about two years after high school.
I got my liberal arts degree at KCC and got two bachelor degrees one in Anthropology and one in English on the Big Island at University of Hawaii at Hilo and I have a certificate in Woman's studies.
I was in an 18 year relationship while raising two Hanai sons I did not marry but helped my now ex raise up the boys. Boy's grew up and moved on their own they both live on the islands. I outgrew the islands(for now) and the relationship. So,for the moment California it is! So now in Calif I have an MBA now and I am now also certified in Human Resources management. Working on a few books at the moment... however trying to stay focused on one to get published.

Okay so you know about my boys I also have one grown biological daughter
My daughter is no longer on the islands. Her and her husband just had their fifth child and are doing great! I have five grand kids two boys and three girls.
Some stuff over the years...
Don't let people rent space in your head.
Don't use training wheels and live life to the fullest. Smile even when you don't want to and stay positive.
Learn something new each day and don't let anyone keep you down! Oh! Exercise and keeping healthy helps!! OH! and being alone does not mean you are lonely! Loneliness is a state of mind not a state of being so never just settle.
My favorite way to relax depends on where I am at.... sometimes a good book or a funny movie, or going back out into nature.. whether it be the tropical beaches, Monterey Bay, or Some of that "San-Francisco Treat" or some rain forest.... or up here on the river in a fully equipped yacht. (food/drink/poles.)Oh Yeah! and NOt strip poles! I'm talkin Fishing Poles!! although you see plenty stripper poles on the river hahah! funny! but it's ridiculous out there.) Or just going to the gym for two hours if I can't get to these other places.. :-)

rise people at my high school reunion the most would be the fact that I have a masters. oh and the fact that I primarily listen to rap. Oh hah! and also a school teacher for high school/intermediate students for many years!! I loved it!
yeah yeah!! I know! I like everything in music all genres and eras I love Marilyn Manson!!However! I pretty much exclusively am listening to various rap when I have on any kind of sounds/beats
Hhhmmm..... blowing off steam on the islands I would go to the beach.
NOW in the states I SHOP!! or even go to the gym
...used to be a lot healthier at a better price LOL!
I don't get mad too much lately even though I am quick tempered and can become volatile if provoked.. <smile>
When I get mad or frustrated I get over it quickly does not last at all. Holding grudges are unhealthy and unproductive. Being angry and frustrated makes a person old and bitter or bitter and old... where are the pluses in being mad or bitter?
You want to know anything else just ask ...
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have Burt's Bees lip balm, water, and a smile to be able to deal with the day-to-day.

One of my career aspirations is working towards Becoming a professor lecturing on a few topics right through retirement age maybe in another country...
I don't know he won't accept my friends request on FaceBook (smile) but then my name is not the same nor is there a picture .. gotta love these story wizard questions!!!

In my doctorate program and past my first residency and just got my certification to do research on humans and animals. I am taking some time off... still have yet to publish (although I have a poem published) but goal is before this years end either one fat book or a trilogy. I have become a grant writer and am a veteran advocate volunteer. Also the CFO of the non-profit and on the Board of Directors. Just started by business consultant and management company. Networking Networking!!!
I took up meditation and going to these one-day retreats. Next is Yoga!!! hahahah! seriously though!
