Tina's Story
I remember one time I had picked up some friends after they had gotten off of the bus to enter school, but instead of going we decided to head to North Carolina to buy some fire works.
While on our way back we decided to see how fast my dad's Grande Prix would go, well I got her up to 120 mph and the front end started shaking and just as I got to her down to the posted speed limit what do I ....yep a State Trooper, Well need I say anymore we all know what would have happened if I had gotten caught not only for speeding, fireworks under age school children and open containers in the car to boot.... well, I made it back to the school in time for the bell to go home was ringing, everyone hopped out and went on their way. I continued to drive home never turning the car off since we had reached the speed of 120 mph so,l when I pulled into the drive way ...Expand for more
and cut the engine off, she made all kinds of noise and shook really hard and then the engine DIED....well, my dad comes out and grant it she was a 1969 Grand Prix but he had babied her. He said well I guess she's tired and it was her time to go she has been good for many years. Well, I was sweating bullets thinking he was going to be able to tell what happened but I kept that my little secrett till this day. Now the world knows why I never made it to Mr. Hipples - Physical Science class that day but he did eventually catch me and called my house and let the cat out of the bag....thought I was going to die that night but as you can see I made it out of that too. Thankfully, my daughter didn't try my tricks, she knew better, my parents were very old when they had me (that was in my favor)plus I told her don't try me, I did it, done it, owned it.....
