Tina's Story

Got out of high school and worked for almost a year and then moved down to S.C. with my parents in April 88. Ran into 3 people from up here down there. I think everyone moved to the Charlotte NC area back then. I worked down there in NC while living in SC. I married and had my first baby in October 1990 who is now 18, and learning Auto Collision work through school. His artwork is superb. He makes the most awesome stencils for auto painting. Had my second son in July 2001 and he loves school and does really well in it. Then last year in July I had my first little girl. She's a handful, everywhere as fast as her curiosity can take her. I love my children. They're my whole entire life. I live for my kids and work hard to give them what they need and want. I hope I can help them go to college one day if they choose to. I went to Stark Technical College back in the 1990's, took Respiratory, and had a rough time with it due to circumstances at the time in my own personal life. I applied for a position at Doctors Hospital in Perry Township as a switchboard operator. And as you may already know, Doctors is now closed. I have worried about getting laid off for a year, but here I am. Now working at A...Expand for more
ffinity Medical Center at the old Massillon City Hospital. I just got my 10 year recognition award. I also have taken two courses. I have two diplomas now: One for Medical Coding Specialist as well as a Medical Billing Specialist. I took my national CPC exam to be a Certified Professional Coder on Sept. 20, 2008. I passed it and now am titled a CPC-A. I was so excited to get my certification of my title in the mail. I really worked hard for it. I really miss all my friends from Highland Jr. High School as well as Massillon Christian High School. I really love all the friends I made, and teachers as well. I wasn't popular in school and always felt like I didn't fit in. There was so much peer pressure back then, on top of being in culture shock from going from a public school to a Christian school. There's not one person that I dislike or hate from my past. I don't hold grudges. I am just happy to be able to tell any of you and all of you that each of you are special to me, and I'm glad I was able to know each one of you, although I might not have really known you all that well. I hope you all have happy lives and that God is still in your lives and protects all of you. That's my happiness.
