Toby's Story
Toby (actually Torbjorn Stjernberg) is from Tierp a small town 100 miles north of Stockholm, Sweden. He has lived in Stockholm from age 15 till age 55 and since then on the Koster Islands 5 miles west of Strömstad on Swedish west coast. He is married to Kristina who he met 1970 and he has a daughter, Maja born 1975 and a son Per, born 1980. Per and his wife Anki have the twins Isak and Anna, born 2012 . Toby's schools include Tillamook High School. He later attended the Stockholm School of Economics and worked in the academic field of Management there till 1997 when he got a chair as professor in Management at the University of Gothenburg. e enjoyed watching many Pig 'n Ford races the last years! We kept close contact with Lyle and Sybil Specht who Toby stayed with 1963/64. They both passed away 2011. We continue to stay in close contact with Bob and Laurie Lambs and to Laurie's sons and their families who also have visited us in Sweden several times. We refer to them as our "Oregon family" to which we also like to include Lyle's and Sybil's daughter Martha and her family.
