Life
How can I summarize 66 years in a
paragraph? It ain't easy. I've been
a teacher - high school & college -
for 37 years, raised 2 daughters,
been married & divorced, written 3
books, gave to charity, attended
church, & observed enormous changes
in my country. Currently, I'm raising my granddaughter, Alexis,
on my own -- and will probably be
the most significant accomplishment
of my later years. It gives me a
focus & purpose that you seldom see
in middle-aged people who seem to
be just marking time & living on past memories. What does it ...Expand for more
all mean? Victor Frankll said there's no absolute meaning in life - it varies with time & circumstance.
I currently have a book out that discusses such matters
in brief understandable language for the non-expert. It's

In Septmber 2006, I was promoted to Senior Professor of Mathematics at Union County College (New Jersey) - in recognition of many years of hard work and service to my students. As of February 2007, I will celebrate 44 years of teaching - time goes by so quickly!
